Thesis objectives

  • Phenological characterisation of the germplasm collection and analysis of the yield potential of the lines studied;
  • Phenological characterisation of the germplasm collection and analysis of the yield potential of the lines studied;
  • Determination of the main biochemical characteristics of the hot pepper fruits in the germplasm collection;
  • Identification of the lines with desirable agronomic characteristics for use in breeding programmes;
  • Selection of the lines with biochemical and yield potential and determination of their intended uses.
