On 23 September 2025, VRDS Buzau took part in the international conference AgroBioDiversity Pulses: Bringing diversity in our agri-food system, organised by VRDS Bacau in partnership with the Romanian Horticultural Society and USAMV Bucharest.
The event, part of the annual meeting of the INCREASE project (23–26 September), brought together more than 90 participants from Romania and abroad and addressed key topics such as:
• the conservation of agricultural biodiversity in Europe through innovative methods and tools;
• local and international models for making the most of pulses (chickpea, bean, lentil, lupin);
• the balance between tradition and innovation in the growing and use of pulses in Romania.
