The 2025 Tomato and Biodiversity Festival – VRDS Buzau promotes Romanian varieties at the ASTRA Museum in Sibiu

We spent a day full of colour and emotion at the ASTRA Museum in Sibiu, where we took part in the Tomato and Biodiversity Festival. The atmosphere was one of celebration – tomatoes from every corner of the country, stories from gardens and seed swapping among enthusiasts.We were there with our own varieties and with research results, and our joy was all the greater because the festival reached beyond our borders as well, with neighbours from the Republic of Moldova and Hungary taking part. Meetings like these become bridges between the community and research, where tradition is interwoven with innovation.
