Today marks 99 years since the birth of the researcher Chiru N. Cristea, the visionary who changed Romanian vegetable growing for good.
🧅🍅 Almost a century later, varieties such as the Buzau onion and the Buzău 1600 tomato stand as testimony to his tireless work, his passion for research and his devotion to authentic Romanian flavour.
