On Friday, 3 October 2026, the Vegetable Research and Development Station Buzau took part in the round table organised within the ADER 2.1.7 project, dedicated to using plasma technologies to control diseases and pests of stored agricultural products and to assessing their effect on seeds and plants.
On behalf of VRDS Buzau, CS II Dr. Biochem. Vasilica Manea, as partner project lead, presented the results of the experiments on beans grown from cold-plasma-treated seeds, following the plants from sowing to harvest.
The event was organised by our partners from the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest, in collaboration with the National Institute for Laser, Plasma and Radiation Physics (INFLPR) and VRDS Buzau.
We thank the project coordinator and partners for the excellent collaboration and for the opportunity to present the results obtained within the ADER 2.1.7 project!
