Today we had the pleasure of welcoming seventh- and eighth-grade pupils from Școala Gimnazială Bozioru, Buzau county, to the Vegetable Research and Development Station Buzau.
The children took a close look at research work in vegetable growing, found out how new vegetable varieties are developed and what an important part the work of researchers plays in securing sustainable agriculture. 
The visit was an interactive one, full of curiosity and questions, and the pupils’ interest and enthusiasm confirmed to us how important it is to bring science closer to the younger generation. 
We thank the pupils and their teachers for the visit and we will be delighted to welcome them again on other occasions!
