Cold Easter nights in Buzau: how to protect the tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers in your polytunnel

🌡️ We don’t know how things are where you are… but in Buzau the nights are dropping to 1–2°C 🥶

So, dear gardeners:

👉 if you have planted tomatoes in the polytunnel

👉 and especially if you went for the “full package” (peppers + cucumbers 😄)

you absolutely MUST protect them at night!

🛡️ Quick solutions:

✔️ thermal film → build a “polytunnel inside the polytunnel”

✔️ horticultural fleece → cover the plants with it directly

🐣 The Easter ritual (compulsory 😄):

Before you crack the egg in the morning…

👉 pop out to the polytunnel

👉 check the plants

👉 and uncover them

☀️ Don’t be fooled by the temperature outside — if the sun is out, the plants are perfectly happy in the polytunnel!

🌱 Think of them as small children:

they need care now…

but afterwards they will reward you with a generous harvest 🍅🥒🌶️

🐰 Happy Easter!

Enjoy the drob, the cozonaci and… the morning polytunnel check 😄
