Green Week brought us, here at VRDS Buzau, plenty of bustle and good cheer, hurried steps through the greenhouses, clever questions and an appetite for discovery at every turn! 
The pupils who visited us were not content merely to listen, they wanted to try things for themselves! So, in the hands-on workshops, amid giggles and laughter, they sowed their first seeds. 
They discovered how a plant’s story begins and, we hope, went home with a little of the joy of working with nature. 
We also held tastings, and for many the Jerusalem artichoke came as an unexpectedly tasty surprise. 
We loved their curiosity, their enthusiasm and the way they threw themselves into every activity.
