Pupils from the “B. P. Hasdeu” National College, members of the Little Hearts robotics team, visited the Vegetable Research and Development Station Buzau to discover what agricultural research looks like in practice.
During the visit they went through the Laboratory of Physiology, Agrochemistry and Organic Crops, saw the vertical greenhouses and the greenhouse used for producing seedlings, learned more about the Romanian varieties developed at Buzau and took part in hands-on sowing and pricking-out activities.
A meeting between technology, education and agriculture, and a tangible way for young people to see how research contributes to the agriculture of the future.
Thank you to the Little Hearts team for their visit and their interest! ![]()
