The VRDS Buzau team does not take a break from science even on its days off — it is our #passion, after all! ![]()
Last weekend we stopped off at the Play Science Festival, hosted by the Buzau County Museum and organised by the Buzau Community Foundation, where it was busier than a greenhouse at the height of the season. ![]()
What did we bring with us? The things we know best: plants, reactions, colours and aromas!
We coloured chrysanthemums like botanical alchemists.
We brought fragrant bunches of aromatic herbs that teleported you straight into the garden.
Cucamelon Victor, Stevia Daria, Kiwano Tempus (the Buzau take on passion fruit
) and… the Zefir wax gourd, all there to taste. #Yes, they do exist and they are delicious!
Because, let us be honest: the first science of humankind was agriculture. Everything else came later. ![]()
#Thankyou to all the children, parents and curious visitors who dropped by! You are the ones who give us the energy to do science at the weekend as well! ![]()
