Gratia Lettuce
Botanical characteristics
The Gratia lettuce is an early variety (48-50 days) with large, smooth, yellowish-green leaves. It does not form a compact head; the leaves remain arranged in an open rosette.
Technological requirements:
Lettuce is an annual, sun-loving plant and should therefore be grown only in open, sunny positions. It prefers fertile, well-drained soils with a neutral pH.
The Gratia lettuce is propagated either by direct sowing or by planting out seedlings. Germination generally takes 7-10 days at temperatures of 16-20°C. The seedlings can be planted out in the field approximately 4-6 weeks after sowing.
Yield and quality characteristics
The plant reaches a height of about 20 cm, forming a head weighing 215 g and measuring 18-20 cm in diameter.
The yield potential is 25 t/ha.
Gratia lettuce is ideal for fresh consumption. Its pleasant taste and crisp texture make it an excellent choice for a healthy, balanced diet.
