Project objectives
- Testing, with a view to identification, of genotypes tolerant to thermal, water and biotic stress among traditional vegetable species suited to the technological systems specific to organic and conservation agriculture;
- Creation of new varieties / hybrids tolerant to thermal, water and biotic stress;
- Introduction of the new varieties into the selection process.
Results
- Conservation and multiplication of genetic resources;
- Organisation of and participation in working visits and discussion sessions in the experimental fields and demonstration plots;
- Active participation in themed exhibitions, with a view to promoting the research results and the valuable genetic material.
- Publication of six articles in B+ rated journals and two articles in ISI-indexed journals;
- Presentation of scientific papers at specialist symposia.
