Project objectives
- Forecasts of the yield potential of vegetable, aromatic and medicinal plant species in the context of current climate change, and of the yields obtained under conventional and organic systems, in the open field and under protected cultivation (polytunnel), for the following species: tomato, cabbage, cauliflower, sweet pepper, carrot and cucumber, intended for use as fresh plant produce.
Results
- Development of cultivation technologies adapted to both the conventional and the organic system, in the open field and under protected cultivation (polytunnel), covering a wide range of vegetable species (tomato, cabbage, cauliflower, sweet pepper, carrot, cucumber), aromatic plants (summer savory, basil) and flowers (calendula, chamomile, chrysanthemums, carnations, pinks, marigolds);
- 3 books, 2 ISI-indexed articles.
