Project objectives
Development of an integrated system for managing the resistance of agroecosystems to harmful organisms in species of the Solanaceae family under present-day climate change conditions.
Results
- An organic technology for improving soil properties and fertility in tomato crops;
- An organic technology for the control of diseases and pests in tomato crops;
- An experimental sampling method for determining the selectivity of plant protection products in tomato crops;
- A technology for fertilising tomatoes with bioinoculants;
- An environmentally friendly technology for lighting tomato seedlings in the vertical greenhouse in order to improve earliness and strengthen plant immunity;
- Institutional development: recruitment of 3 young researchers (Research Assistants);
- Publications: 3 ISI-indexed articles; 7 articles indexed in international databases (BDI);
- Participation in 5 conferences (1 national and 4 international);
- Organisation of exhibitions and of visits to the demonstration plots in the experimental field of the Vegetable Research and Development Station Buzau and to plots attended by farmers.
